Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Position Supervised by: Clinical Director of Autism Services

Representative Tasks/Responsibilities: (Perform other related duties as required):

  • Conduct  and document assessments for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders according to policy and procedure
  • Determine frequency and direction of services for children
  • Develop treatment plans including Behavior Intervention Plans for child based on the assessments conducted
  • Assure that plans are appropriate for child; make changes to plans as necessary
  • Develop transition plans as required
  • Provide direct services as indicated on treatment plan, when applicable
  • Provide family training to families of children in the program
  • Coordinate with other care providers (outside services, outside medical professionals, etc)
  • Train ABA Therapist on program Policies and Procedures
  • Train ABA Therapist on Applied Behavior Analysis principles and procedures and implementation
  • Supervise ABA Therapist on cases as indicated on treatment plan
  • Follow all policies and procedures as indicated

Technical/Professional Knowledge: BCBA certification required.  At least 2 years' experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and supervisory experience preferred. National Provider Identification Number (NPI#)


ABA Therapists

Position Supervised by: BCBA

Representative Tasks/Responsibilities: (Perform other related duties as required):

  • Implement principles and procedures of Applied Behavior Analysis to successfully meet goals/objectives on treatment plans and carry out Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Take data on goals/objectives and behaviors in need of reduction, input data into data system as required
  • Communicate with other outside care professionals (medical doctors, speech therapists, etc.) if necessary
  • Communicate with BCBA supervisor when issues arise on cases
  • Relay information to supervising BCBA for progress notes and 6 month reports
  • Follow all policies and procedures as indicated

Technical/Professional Knowledge: At least 6 months' experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.  ABA training or experience preferred. Must complete 40-hour online training provided by ABA Provider Services.
