ABA Provider Services is an affiliate of TheraCare, a leading provider of Early Intervention Services (for children birth to 3 years old) in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York, as well as Preschool services (for children 3 to 5 years old) in New York.
Our Approach: Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
As early as 1981, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) has been identified as the treatment of choice for children with Autism. ABA is the design, implementation and evaluation of environmental modifications to produce socially significant improvement in human behavior. ABA includes direct observation, measurement and functional analysis of the relations between factors and behavior. It is the process of systematically applying interventions based upon the principles of learning theory to improve socially significant behaviors.
Socially significant behaviors include social skills, academics, communication and daily living skills such as eating, dressing, toileting, self-care, home and community skills and work skills.
